  • Development of Contracting & Procurement Plans and Procedures.
  • Analysis of market conditions in order to assess present and future trends that may affect
  • Contractor and Vendor availability.
  • Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification efforts.
  • Pre-qualification submittal evaluations and subsequent short list recommendations.
  • Preparation and packaging of all documentation required for the Pro-forma Bid
  • Package, including the Instructions to Bidders, Contract and Purchase Order Terms & Conditions, all Exhibits and associated Attachments.
  • Issuance of ITB/PO Packages to Bidders.
  • Process and issue all Bid Bulletins addressing ITB/PO modifications and/or clarifications and queries raised by the Bidders.
  • Lead Bid Opening efforts and subsequent Bid Evaluation efforts.
  • Prepare and issue all Technical and Commercial Clarifications to the Bidders.
  • Prepare Award Recommendations.
  • Execute all Final Contract/Purchase Order Negotiations and the Final Award documentation. Process procedures submitted by Contractors to ensure timely review and approval by the appropriate PMT member.
  • Process Change Order Requests issued by the Contractors or Vendors.
  • Evaluate and advise the Project Manager of the cost and schedule impacts of potential
  • Change Orders and Contractor/Vendor originated Change Order Requests.
  • Preparation and execution of Change Orders and Contract/Purchase Order  Amendments.
  • Preparation and execution of all documentation required for Contract/Purchase Order Closeout.
  • Material & Logistics Coordination.
  • Warehousing Management.

     
    All of the above functions can be executed at the clients facility or be performed totally offsite at one of our facilities.

    Dispute Resolution:


    SES specializes in the review, strategy development, negotiation and resolution of large dollar claims, change orders, warranty and workmanship disputes where arbitration or litigation is not the preferred method of settlement.  Experience includes direct negotiations with large commercial equipment suppliers (Cooper Rolls, GE, Sulzer, Dresser, Solar, Ariel etc) and major fabricators (Kvaerner Process, McDermott, FELS, Gulf Marine, Gulf Island, etc.).
